I want to sincerely thank you for the wonderful job you did on our roof. Your professionalism thoroughness needs to be commended. I am thrilled that you guarantee your replacement roof for ten years while others in the industry only give you two years. I especially liked how your crew cleaned up after the job; no old nails and other construction debris lying around in the yard after the job was complete. I had several estimates for the work prior to hiring Improve Today. Some of the other contractor's estimates were lower and some of them were higher. We decided to go with your company for two reasons. The first was your stellar reputation. Your customers speak highly of your service and your work. The second reason we decided to go with your company was the professional, detailed manner in which you executed the initial roof inspection and prepared and explained the roof repair/replacement plan to us. Your estimate included numerous digital photos with notations of problem areas and a computerized estimate. It was not only very high-tech, but extremely comprehensive. Your manager was at the job each day, supervising the operation. Your pricing was fair, your customer service was excellent and your crew was fast, efficient and courteous. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for restoring my faith in good, old fashioned, honest, reasonably-priced, quality service-contracting. It was raining heavily that day, I had called them early afternoon, explained the situation, they considered the seriousness of the problem and came to see what needed to be done, they took pictures and showed us the area that needed to be fixed and gave us a quote, we decided it was fair enough and asked them if they could have someone come in that day, it was already 5:30 in the afternoon, he called the crew, they said yes and got to work. Ken was on time for the scheduled appointment, gave me a very detailed estimate on what work needed to be done and was able to get a crew out the same day.
The crew that came out was very fast. It took them no later than 30 minutes to finished the required work. The foreman also asked me to come outside and review the work that was done on the roof. He took the time to explain what was done, how it was done, and why it was done. It appears that the crew was well trained to do the job correct the first time to prevent further or repeated damage.
Overall I'm very satisfied with service performed and business transaction. The only suggestion I have is perhaps having either Ken or the foreman to review the proposal and roofing procedures item by item once the job is complete. It's probably more time consuming, but it just gives the customer more sense of peace that work performed was done.
From what I see this is the #1 roofing repair company in Northern Virginia. I'm impressed with the fact that they seem to go above and beyond what needs to be repaired. Thank you! |

We had a slow leak in our roof which caused a mold problem, and our first contact with RoofRepairVA was with Ken Breismeister. He came out and thoroughly inspected the roof/attic inside and out and gave us his opinion, which involved replacing the roof entirely (both shingles and plywood) as well as proper mold remediation. He took our problem very seriously and was honest and professional, and most of all wanted to ensure that our problem didn't occur again... backed by his 12-year warranty. (We had other roofers who downplayed the problem, or tried to sell us on some very expensive ventilation only, insisting that our visible leak was not a leak!) He also answered all questions big and small before we hired him, with professionalism and courtesy.
On the day of the job, Ken was the first man from RoofRepairVA on site and the last man to leave, and oversaw the job from start to finish. He found wear and tear but also the root cause - improper satellite dish mounting too near a critical area (within 1 ft from a valley seam).
Ken, June and Co. were there at the right time with the right solution, thoroughtly and professionally executed. Perfect cleanup, no LEAKS and virtually a perfect shingle match on an 8 yr old roof.
No one else I contacted seem interested. But Ken was there where all others failed to respond and did the job to perfection.
